Jean Church, MA, LPCC
Somatic & Trauma-Informed Therapist
Jean brings a calm, compassionate presence to her work, helping clients navigate grief, trauma,
and major life transitions with curiosity and care. She believes healing happens through a
whole-person approach — one that honors the connection between mind, body, relationships,
and lived experience. Her style is gentle, grounded, and collaborative, creating a space where
clients can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with themselves.
Jean specializes in working with adults who are moving through losses such as divorce, the
death of a loved one, or other significant endings. She understands that these experiences can
affect identity, relationships, and the nervous system, and she tailors therapy to meet each
person’s unique needs. Her integrative approach weaves together somatic counseling,
attachment-focused work, and IFS-informed parts work to support deep and lasting healing.
A unique element of Jean’s practice is her use of sound therapy to help regulate the nervous
system and create a sense of grounding and ease. Clients often find this especially helpful
when they feel overwhelmed or stuck, as it provides an additional pathway for processing and
integration.
Jean is deeply committed to helping clients cultivate self-compassion, emotional resilience, and
healthy boundaries. She also enjoys supporting parents of adolescents and teens who are
looking for guidance and steadiness during challenging developmental seasons.
Jean works with individual adults (ages 35–75).
