Liv brings warmth, authenticity, humor, and honesty to her work. Clients often appreciate her ability to be both deeply supportive and refreshingly direct. She believes meaningful growth happens when people feel accepted as they are while also being encouraged to move toward meaningful change. Her goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where clients can experience both.

Liv works with adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of life’s challenges and transitions. Whether clients are navigating stress, difficult emotions, relationship concerns, changes in identity or circumstances, family dynamics, loss, uncertainty, or simply feeling stuck, she strives to provide a space where they can feel understood, supported, and empowered.

Her background in social work includes supporting individuals and families through periods of stress, crisis, loss, and significant life change. These experiences reinforced her belief that people are often more resilient than they realize and that healing occurs within safe, trusting relationships.

Liv takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy. She does not view people as problems to be fixed, but as individuals with unique experiences, strengths, values, and stories. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems perspectives, she helps clients better understand patterns, navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, build practical coping skills, and reconnect with what matters most to them.

While Liv enjoys working with a variety of concerns, she has particular experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, family and relationship stress, ADHD, caregiver burnout, and the challenges that can arise when balancing responsibilities, expectations, and personal well-being.
